<p>Euronews has been a leader in European news since 1993, establishing a unique cross-border identity and multilingual model. Today, we offer 13 multi-platform language editions and 7 branded affiliates, making Euronews accessible in a total of 20 languages.</p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for freelance journalists and sub-editors to contribute to our news team. You’ll need to have prior knowledge of financial news, as well as native-level English. This is an opportunity to cover the biggest stories in the business world through a European lens.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Write breaking stories and contribute to daily news coverage on the following subjects: economy, business, markets</li><li>Produce in-depth analysis articles and original stories on financial topics</li><li>Work with colleagues to edit articles and prepare them for publication on our CMS</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Strong news judgement and proven journalism experience</li><li>Native-level English, both written and spoken</li><li>Experience covering financial news</li><li>Ability to work quickly and to tight deadlines</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ethical standards</li><li>Ability to work as part of a team</li><li>Prior knowledge of CMS is a bonus</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you are interested in this opportunity, please send a CV and cover letter in English explaining why you are a good fit for the role.</p>
