Set in a countryside location, they blend classroom learning with practical outdoor activities to build confidence and real-world skills. Students study qualifications in English, maths, preparation for adulthood and vocational subjects such as animal care, catering and land-based industries. With a strong focus on inclusion, they foster equal opportunities, value every learner, and work closely with parents and carers.</p><p><b>Salary:</b> Pay to scale - MPS / UPS</p><p>Are you passionate about animal care and dedicated to inspiring the next generation of animal management professionals? We are seeking an enthusiastic <b>Level 3 Animal Management Tutor</b> to join our dynamic team. You will teach both <b>Level 3 Animal Management (Year 2)</b> and <b>Level 2 Animal Care</b> learners, helping them gain the skills and knowledge to excel in the industry.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured sessions in line with the curriculum, schemes of work, and provision plans.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee work-experience placements for Level 2 and Level 3 students, working closely with the industry placement coordinator.</li><li>Assess, monitor, record, and report on student progress and achievements, ensuring accurate and productive use of assessment.</li><li>Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse strengths and needs of students, inspiring and challenging them to achieve their best.</li><li>Prepare students for internal and external assessments and promote excellent outcomes.</li><li>Demonstrate up-to-date subject and curriculum knowledge, incorporating the latest industry developments.</li><li>Lead by example, maintaining the highest professional and personal standards while modelling best practice in animal care.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications & Training</h2><ul><li>A relevant qualification in <b>Animal Care, Agriculture, or a related field</b> (minimum Level 3)</li><li>Evidence of recent professional development relevant to the role.</li></ul><h2>Desirable Experience</h2><ul><li>Teaching or tutoring experience in an educational or training environment.</li><li>Experience working with children or young people, including those with <b>Special Educational Needs</b></li><li>Involvement in planning and delivering learning activities.</li></ul><h2>Skills & Knowledge</h2><ul><li>Strong technical problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-motivated approach.</li><li>Ability to create a positive, student-focused learning environment and provide high-quality support.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with students and colleagues.</li><li>Understanding of diverse student needs and strategies to adapt and deliver support accordingly.</li><li>Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills, including the use of technology to support learning.</li><li>Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.</li><li>Knowledge of safeguarding practices and the ability to maintain a safe and supportive environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear verbal delivery.</li><li>A collaborative team player who is flexible and adaptable in daily routines.</li></ul></div> #J-18808-Ljbffr
