Senior Principal Indirect Procurement Consultant – Boutique Procurement Consultancy - London (Hybrid – 1 day per week onsite) - £60,000–£75,000 + Package – Must be UK based Are you an experienced procurement professional (circa 7 years’ experience) with a background in management consultancy? With an expanding client portfolio across both public and private sectors, this role offers the chance to take a leading position on complex client engagements while shaping the firm’s growth trajectory. It’s an ideal step up for an ambitious Principal Consultant ready to take on a Senior Principal remit. Role Responsibilities Lead client delivery autonomously, managing teams of Consultants and Senior Consultants to design and implement innovative procurement strategies. Work across a diverse client base spanning public and private sector organisations, gaining exposure to a broad range of industries and functions. Contribute to business development — while not targeted at this level, the firm rewards consultants who help bring in new opportunities. Mentor and develop junior consultants, supporting their professional growth and capability development. Required Background Proven experience developing procurement strategies and delivering tangible cost savings across a variety of indirect categories — ideally with exposure to FM and/or IT procurement. Prior management consultancy experience is essential. Strong track record of delivery, with evidence of measurable savings and creative, outcome-focused problem solving. Degree essential; MCIPS (or working towards) preferred. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
