Community Dietitian - Healthy Weight & Nutrition Service (Pregnancy and Early Years)

Children & Family Hubs across Hackney (hybrid: community, hub-based, and home visits)
Hours:
Part-time (minimum 14 hours/week)
Contract:
Fixed-term - 4-month pilot (Dec March 2026)

Are you passionate about improving maternal and early-years nutrition in diverse communities? Join us in delivering a culturally responsive Healthy Weight & Nutrition Service for pregnant women and families with young children in Hackney.
Key Responsibilities:Provide clinical dietetic support for families identified through maternity and health visiting pathways.
Deliver early-years interventions for children experiencing nutritional challenges.
Facilitate group workshops on healthy eating, weaning, and culturally inclusive meal planning.
Collaborate with Family Hubs, health professionals, and community food networks.
Monitor service impact through data collection and contribute to pilot evaluation
What We're Looking For:HCPC-registered Dietitian with at least 3 years post-registration experience (maternal or paediatric focus).
Strong communication skills and experience working with diverse populations.
Knowledge of public health nutrition, safeguarding, and early-years frameworks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
Desirable:Experience in community or public health dietetics.
Familiarity with Family Hubs, HENRY, or Start for Life programmes.
Skills in evaluation and service co-production.
