We operate core hours of 10 to 4, Monday to Friday (37hr week)</li><li>Family - Enhanced maternity and paternity pay along with a flexible return to work</li></ul><p>You can find out more here:</p><p>Benefits - Police Digital Service (pds.police.uk)</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate across domains and programmes to support the development and implementation of enterprise architecture strategy.</li><li>Actively engage with stakeholders to communicate strategic direction and highlight areas for improvement, innovation, and risk mitigation.</li><li>Design architectures that integrate people, technology, and processes to meet business outcomes and deliver long-term value.</li><li>Influence and contribute to architectural governance and assurance processes, managing risk across complex domains.</li><li>Champion the use of architectural patterns, standards, and methods to enable consistent delivery and design excellence.</li><li>Provide strategic problem framing and contribute to the design of appropriate solutions that are aligned with organisational objectives.</li><li>Support architecture community health and help teams to adopt agile, secure, and interoperable design principles.</li><li>Foster collaboration, mentor peers, and help drive continuous improvement in architecture practice and delivery.</li></ul><p><strong>What you need to succeed in the role</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience designing and evolving enterprise architectures that align technology, people, processes, and policy to meet organisational goals</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences across teams and domains</li><li>Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, BCS) and experience applying architectural principles, patterns, and standards in practice</li><li>Demonstrated ability to support strategic planning, identify organisational risks, and contribute to long-term technology roadmaps</li><li>Experience working in multidisciplinary teams using agile delivery methods, with an appreciation of how architecture supports iterative delivery</li><li>Familiarity with governance processes, including managing architectural assurance and contributing to effective decision-making across programmes</li><li>Ability to interpret and respond to emerging technologies and trends, translating them into enterprise-level opportunities or mitigations</li><li>Excellent collaboration and mentoring skills, contributing to a strong enterprise architecture community and knowledge-sharing culture.</li></ul><p><strong>Diversity, equity and inclusion</strong></p><p>We are committed to equal opportunities for all and will not discriminate on any grounds.
